SincalLIB.NET Developer Tool
SincalLib.NET package is a collection of components meant to help developing interfaces between different utility GIS systems and SIEMENSs
PSSŪSINCAL network calculation software. SincalLib.NET is developed based on the Microsoft .NET framework.
SincalLib.NET is developed based on the Microsoft .NET framework.

- SincalLib.NET - base module
- SincalLib.FRM - optional module
- SincalLib.XML - optional module
SincalLIB.NET package is a separate product from PSSŪSINCAL. It needs no PSSŪSINCAL installation and it uses a different licensing policy. Two licensing versions are available:
- Runtime - allows the call of published interfaces from within predefined client applications
- Developer - allows the development of own interface client applications. The end user has to have own separate runtime license.
SincalLib.NET module
This is the base compulsory module to be used by client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications to create and maintain PSSŪSINCAL
databases based on utility GIS data.
Contains interfaces for:
- creating, reading, updating, saving PSSŪSINCAL databases
- creating, reading, updating, saving PSSŪSINCAL standard type databases
- creating, updating network elements (nodes, lines, transformers, generators, loads, etc). All elements have default values for all properties. The values are same as PSSŪSINCAL default
- creating views for visualizing the network elements
- adding graphical representations in different PSSŪSINCAL database views for existing network elements (multi-graphical representation)
- creating network groups, voltage levels for network elements
- creating graphic object types and graphical layers for the graphical representation of network elements
- analyzing or modifying network topology (easy check of object connections)
- copying objects between opened PSSŪSINCAL databases (the copy function can keep object connections. /line - node/)
SincalLib.FRM module
This is an optional module to be used by client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications to visualize the conversion
process in a predefined dialog panel.

- incrementing the convert data-grid view cells while converting the network, while reading and/or saving the PSSŪSINCAL databases
- updating the progress bar component while saving the PSSŪSINCAL databases
- saving the content of data-grid view cells in LOG file
SincalLib.XML module
This is an optional module to be used by client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications to
use XML configuration files during the conversion process.
This XML configuration file may contain:
- information regarding auxiliary file-based databases (PSSŪSINCAL standard type databases, infeeder / transformer databases etc.)
- lists of pre-defined graphic layers, graphic object types, network groups, voltage levels, if needed
- rules for conversion, relationship between GIS objects and PSSŪSINCAL objects
- graphical layer and graphical object type assignment based on voltage level range definition, if needed
- definition of custom variables and values
Contains interfaces for:
- reading XML configuration files
- finding graphic layers, graphic objects based on GIS names (alias names), voltage levels
- finding graphical representation information (color, background color) based on voltage level and other grouping
- finding custom variable values globally defined or based upon conversion rules
- creating the graphic layers, graphic object types, network groups, voltage levels based on the XML configuration file
Development
SincalLib.NET package is a result of more than 10 years of
GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface development.
Thus far we have used this software embedded in our development, but from now on we may provide our solution to other GIS developers
who wish to develop client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications based on Microsoft .NET technology.
With the developer license the following features are provided:
- Runtime DLLs and license file for the development
- Special developer ID, which will identify all developers client applications (the code is built in the license too)
- Documentation of the provided interfaces
- Sample programs in C#.NET and Visual Basic.NET
- "Getting started" documentation
- Free patches and updates for new PSSŪSINCAL versions during the valid development license period.
Cooperation
Our aim is to provide the possibility and the help to develop client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications.
We can provide:
- the SincalLib.NET package as a base for those who wish to develop own client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications
- the help and assistance for those who wish to develop own client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications based on the package
- the development of client GIS-PSSŪSINCAL interface applications based on the package, within a project solution
