Description:

The interface uses PSA data format as object definition and NEK format for graphical description. One PSA database may have more NEK definition (more graphical representation). The next picture shows the data flow:

PSS�SINCAL supports multi-graphic structure and converted database contains as many network views as NEK files are used during the conversion. The next picture shows one PSS�SINCAL database with different network views:

"Incremental network update" tool is developed in order to manage GIS and PSS�SINCAL database changes. The drawing below shows the logic of the updating process:

The update tool uses S1b database as reference. The result database is created from S1b using the modification rules. The differences could be "Presence" or "Value" type, and client can define handling rules in a parameter XML. The result will be the combined PSS�SINCAL database and a LOG file, where the user can follow the data modifications by the "Incremental network update" tool.
